A chiropractic adjustment is defined as a short lever, high velocity controlled thrust by hand that is directed at specific articulations to correct vertebral subluxations. A vertebral subluxation is defined as a spinal misalignment or joint dysfunction resulting in neurological or biomechanical dysfunction.
